I’m trying to implement a side bar menu using either the primary or secondary sidebars but am running into a couple problems.

First, while I can display a sidebar menu in an empty page – it will not display in a page that already has most of the content created. I’ve tried defining the sidebar in Appearance/Customizations, defining the sidebar in the page via the siteOrigin editor and even using a custom sidebar plugin. None have worked.

Additionally with the sidebar I was able to create in an empty no matter what location I specify – left of right – it’s always rendered on the right.

    Any ideas?

    Thx

Sorry I though I responded to this several days ago but my response isn’t here. Reposting

Page where sidebar is displayed, though it’s on the RIGHT side while I specified and expected it to display on the LEFT side.

    displays sidebar on RT side

Page where sidebar isn’t displaying at all. I expect it to display on the LEFT side

    page where sidebar doesn’t display

    Hello Canzoneri

The site URL shows coming soon, I guess you have not live the site yet

You cannot assign sidebar to homepage, sidebar works for blog, archive and single pages only

For reference please follow the screen record – for sidebar arrangement
