    Hi,

    I like the dynamic Notice feature at the header on this great theme Education Hub Pro.

    I would like to use this area ‘Notice’ to rotate links to posting Events article. For Events, I added WP plugin ‘The Events Calendar’. Can we use dynamic Notice feature to show events?

    Hello @makoto,

    To display the event from the plugin “The Events Calendar” you have to go through the child theme .

    You can even activate the child theme using the plugin given below :

    After activating the child theme, in your child theme functions.php file paste below given code .

    This will make the events display from the plugin .

    This works on our site! Thank you for your kind advice!!

    I would like to ask you a little bit more regarding this Notice feature.

    1. If switch to display the post/blog later, do we need to delete this code on your last advice from the child theme functions.php file?

    Because I chose Post/Blog category on the ‘Notice Category’ drop down menu, but nothing happen. Events still display on the Notice feature.

    2. How to change rolling up ‘Delay’& ‘Duration’ of the Notice feature

    I would like to tweak rolling up a little slower than default speed, etc.

    Hello @makoto,

    If you want to use the theme feature itself in this section then please deactivate the plugin then it will work absolutely fine .

    Also currently the theme does not have the feature to control the transition time of the news ticker title and as it require higher code customization we are unable to help you with this . But you can still consider hiring the professional developer .
