Good day
The background of the main slider on the front page is black. I have uploaded header images and content…but still just black. http://www.apa.ac.za

Regarding your query, the image you add in the header image displays in all the other pages except the homepage(front page).

It is enabled but the background stays black…it does not show an image. How do I add an image to the background of the main slider?

When you choose the post/page/category, the slider shows the same post/page/category you choose and its featured image you have added.
Further, the background image displays behind the content in the background of the site.
