I just purchased the Easy Commerce Pro theme and would like to know if it is possible to change the number of related products that show up under the product you are viewing.

Regarding your query, you can definitely increase the number of posts/products to be displayed and this can be done by going to Admin Panel > Settings > Readings > Reading Settings > Products pages show at most and manage the no of the products to be displayed.

Regarding your query, if you have added the section from the path Admin Panel / Appearance / Customize / Widget / Front Page Widgets area then you can remove the widgets. But if you want to remove the section by CSS then please provide us with your site URL and the screenshot of the specific section so that we can help you with the precise fix.
