Hi,
I noticed when I add a featured image to a blog article and save my article that picture not only shows as a thumbnail but also shows inside the post itself. and I don’t know how to get rid of that image inside the blog article without deleting the thumbnail and featured image.

If you do not want the featured image to appear inside the particular post, theme itself has feature to hide them.
For this goto Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Theme Options > Layout > Image in Single Post/Page and select No Image from the dropdown options.
