If you go to photo.jsharf.com, and then select under the menu, Subject -> Landscape, you’ll see the first picture is Old Tracks. The lightbox preview comes up with the large image, which is correct. But if you go to the actual post, you see a small image and then a large image. I’d like the image to show only once, but I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong.

Regarding your query, everything is working fine on our side as you can see in the screenshot given below where only one featured image is displaying of the related post.
Also, once please deactivate your plugins one by one and verify the issue as this issue might have raised due to the third party plugin conflict.

I didn’t think there was a bug with the theme; I was wondering if there was a setting I was missing.
