I use the theme Education Hub. When i configure Featured Content (block between slider and line with news and events blocks), i select Featured Page, save changes, but Featured Content not appear in Front Page.

For the Featured Content Block to appear on Front Page you need to select a static page for that.
Now go to Admin Panel / Appearance / Customize / Static Front Page -> A static page.
And now you need to select a page for Front page and Posts page.
