I bought the theme “Magazine-plus-pro” yesterday and tried customising it as displayed in the demo.I was following the theme instructions step-by step but i dont have an option to add a front page widget,even though i have set the front page to a static page and carefully followed all of the instructions listed in the theme-instructions page. Is this a theme-error? Please guide me so that i can update my new website.

First of all thank you for using our theme.
To place the widget in the front page widget area goto Admin Panel > Appearance > widgets. There you will be able to see the front page widget area where you can place the widget of your choice .
After the placement of the widget at the backend, you will be able to see Front Page Widget area in Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Widgets as well.
