Hi I recently just purchased the Magazine Plus Pro theme. On the free theme, I was able to have a header image but when I purchased the theme, I am only able to change the color. The site name used to span across the header as well, but now it breaks to the next line. I’m thinking because the paid version has a header right widget. I do not need the widget, but do want a header image. Is this possible?

Regarding your query, the image you have added is in the background image so it is displaying all over the background.
Please add an image in Admin Panel > Appearance > Custommizer > Header Image.

As indicated in the original post, the paid version has no option to change Header Image in the customize. Only an option to change the background image. The free version had an option to change the Header Image. Please let me know how I can use an image as the header.

Regarding your query, the options in the free theme are shown in the screenshot given below:
The premium theme customizers options are in the below screenshot: https://prnt.sc/uxgl6k
Both the customizer do not have the header image options.
Once, please provide us with the site URL where you activate the free theme and display the header image so that we can inspect.
Also, the recent version of the free and pro theme does not have a header image option.

That’s funny, because as indicated in the above posts with screenshots of both the paid and free versions, the free version has the header image option here:
