    When I upload images to be used as headers they appear much darker than the original. How can I remove/modify the filter that is applied to images when they are used as a header?

    Hello @gttours,

    To remove the overlay effect use below given CSS .

    For this go to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS and paste below given CSS.

    section#banner-image .black-overlay {
    display: none;
}
