In Appearance > Customize > Theme Options > Home Page Options > Enable News Section / Enable Events Section are pulling the same post data. Even though “Events” has its own categories and posts outside of standard “Posts” the only content pulling through is related to Posts only, not events. This is not the desired result. Please advise.

    Hello,

Regarding your query, everything is working fine on our site.

Once please verify that you have the latest version of the theme.

You can refer to the screen record given below for detailed assistance.

Also, make sure you have events so that it can display on the front page.

    Regards.

I am using the current version 1.0.1. All screenshots and demo videos on this feature show both the News and Events features using the exact same posts. That should not the expected outcome if you’re pulling from the correct post-type.

I should clarify that I am using The Events Calendar plugin for managing events on our site, version 5.1.0. https://theeventscalendar.com/

I see no use of the above display function for “events” if they don’t delineate from “posts”. Can the child-theme be customized to pull post-type data for these real event posts?

    Hello,

The plugins you have used is not compatible with our theme. We have not worked in the theme compatibility with the Events Calendar plugin.

Also, yes you have to make customization in the child theme to secure the customizations.

You can make customizations by yourself or hire a professional developer.

    Regards.
