    Hi thanks for the response.

I am looking for a search bar in the sidebar beside the search results not in the nav bar, if possible?

    Hello,

You can definitely add search in the sidebar. For this, you need to add the default widget “Search” in your desired sidebar.

As for the search in nav bar you can hide it by using the CSS.

    Hope this helps.

If you have any query further, please let us know.

    Thank you.

Ok, how do I add this to a search results page? Where do I find the page to edit?

    Hello,

You can add the search widget in the widget areas not in particular page as you have mentioned. But what you can do is assign the widget area to the search page and add the search widget.

    Hope this clears the confusion.

Let us know if you have any confusion.

    Thank you.
