Hi Wen,
My featured images transferred perfectly from my last theme. However, the dimensions don’t seem to fit Photomania Pro very well… The home page slider, for example, is so big it goes below the fold. What are the ideal dimensions for Photomania Pro’s featured images?

For the correct image size to be displayed in the slider section please upload the picture of recommended size (1350px X 590px), which is also mentioned in Post Editor screen -> Featured Image metabox.
Also it is always recommended to regenerate thumbnails after switching themes to make images adapt according to the theme. Please try Regenerating thumbnails for your website and to make resize images to a extent.
