    Hello,
    I was wondering if I can make the feature image invisible or set an image only for the slide menu on the front page.

    Hello,

    Yes for this you can add below given CSS for this by going to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS.

    .page img.attachment-full.size-full.wp-post-image {
    display: none;
}
