I’m using this theme with allurism.com and would like to be able to load custom post types, or at least be able to add content via Elementor to the front page. Currently and limited to blog posts, and cannot update models, photo galleries, or classes on my front page. I’d be totally cool just using elementor, but doing so with the elementor theme completely removes the theme settings for the nav bar, background, and header.

May 26, 2020 at 4:49 am #124283wensolutionsKeymasterHello,
For now, the feature to click the image and to open the post is not available in the theme.
However for now, the elementor is not compatible with the theme, and we have informed the theme author about the issue and we will soon release the update fixing the issue.
Regards.

May 26, 2020 at 2:16 pm #124306David AvantParticipantOr maybe just some code to disable the home page settings so I can keep the skin and use my own template from Elementor?
May 27, 2020 at 1:14 am #124330wensolutionsKeymasterHello,
Regarding your query and issue related to the compatibility with the theme and elementary, we have already informed the theme author and they will be working on the compatibility and release the update soon.
Also, regarding refund, we’d be happy to refund if we are not able to satisfy you with our support assistance at the end.
You can email at info[at]themepalace.com
Hoping for your kind co-operation.
Regards.
May 27, 2020 at 2:17 am #124335David AvantParticipantI’ll wait if they’re going to fix it soon. I like the buttons and feel. Just too limiting for my needs. May look around your site for something comparable. I don’t need a refund, would rather just exchange for something that works.
May 27, 2020 at 7:43 am #124347wensolutionsKeymasterHello,
As we mentioned earlier, will be working on the compatibility and release the update soon.
Also, please mention the feature that you might need so that we can filter out the features that we might add in the coming update as an enhancement and can say you that either we will work on that feature or not.
Regards.
May 27, 2020 at 9:00 am #124367wensolutionsKeymasterWe have updated the theme. Please go to Appearance – Themes – Blog Diary Pro (Version 1.0.2) – Click on Update Now.
We have added the link for the featured image.
Also we have checked the theme with Elementor Plugin and it is working fine. Install and Activate the Plugin First. Follow these steps to get elementor on your frontpage.
1. Click on Edit Page in the homepage and look for Page Attributes on the right-side panel. In Template, select Elementor Full Width.
2. Click on Edit with Elementor on the same page content area. Then elementor widgets will be shown on the left side panel as in customizer. You can Drag Widgets there to make the sections as you need. Click on the Update button available at the bottom to save the changes. Then visit your site.
We have checked to add elementor widgets and it’s working totally fine without any interference to theme settings for the navbar, background, and header like you mentioned before.
