Hi – I’m stuggling with widget areas not being available on my pages.
For example – “Your theme has 5 other widget areas, but this particular page doesn’t display them”
None of the footer widgets are available.
Is there something simple I have done wrong?

I just hadn’t added a widget to the areas on the main Appearance / Widgets confit page before Customising with Live Preview.

At first all the footer widget area wont be displayed in the Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Widgets .
To make them appear in the customizer preview you have to go to Admin Panel > Appearance > Widgets and add required widget in one of he footer widget area . Now you will be able to find all widget area in Customizer preview .

I just downloaded the Construction Base Pro and I added a widget to the “Front Page Widget Area” through Dashboard> Appearance> Widgets but the widget area is still not showing up in the customize/manage with live preview area. Please Help.

First of all thank you very much for using the pro theme .
When we checked the theme locally the widget area appear along with the widgets added in the customizer as you can see in below screen shot :

So make sure you have saved the widget after adding them in respective widget area from Admin Panel > Appearance > Widgets .

This will make the widgets along with the widget area appear in customize > Widgets .

I had hit save before when trying to add widgets. What I found was that the “front page displays” needed to be set to “a static page” not “your latest posts” in order for the “front page widget area” to show up under customization.

Yes you do need to set the Front page displays to Static Page to display the widget that is placed in the Front page widget area . If you set to latest post then it will only display the recent post .

I, too, are in the subject of Clean Corporate when adding a widget to the main page. The widget is added to the content area, in the middle of the page. Yes, it is added on the main page, but not in the widget area. Help me please.

First of all thank you very much for using the theme.
The widget is displaying in the content area may be because you have placed the widget in the “Front Page Widget Area“. If you don’t want to display any widget in the main content area then please do not place any widget in this widget area.
If you only wanted to show the widget in Footer and sidebar then place your desired widget in the widget like “Footer widget 1,2,3,4 and in Primary sidebar and secondary sidebar.
Hope this clears the confusion.
