    Hello @ttemple,

To display the above section that you have mentioned in the dashboard, please activate all the plugins recommended by the theme. After activating the required plugin you will find the Testimonial, Portfolio etc menu in Admin Panel.

Now just create the desired no of Portfolio, Testimonials etc from the dashboard.

    Hope this helps.

    Best Regards!!

Thanks so much – after i posted i found the Jetpack that needed to be installed.

Another Question on Food Menus – which is pretty important for our website – this is why i purchased your theme.

Can you explain the different between the following for me:

    Menu Items:
    Menu Labels:
    Menu Sections:

I have have read through you documentation and can’t see to figure out how to get menus posted?

I need to be able to create the following menus on my website:

    Lunch Menu
    – with different sections in it – like: Starters, Salads, Sandwiches, Entrees, Dessert and Coffee

    Dinner Menu
    – with different sections in it – like: Starters, Salads, Sandwiches, Entrees, Dessert and Coffee (difference prices from lunch)

    Outdoor Dining Menu
    – with different sections in it – like: Starters, Salads, Sandwiches, Entrees, Dessert and Coffee (difference prices)

I also need to create a separate page that highlights our Catering Choice of Menus
    – Catering Menu Choice 1 – with different sections in it – like: Starters, Salads, Sandwiches, Entrees, Dessert and Coffee

    – Catering Menu Choice 2 – with different sections in it – like: Starters, Salads, Sandwiches, Entrees, Dessert and Coffee

    – Catering Menu Choice 3 – with different sections in it – like: Starters, Salads, Sandwiches, Entrees, Dessert and Coffee

Thanks in advance for any guidance you can provide me.

    Tim

    Hello @ttemple,

The Menu item is the food item that you add through Admin panel > Menus > Add One Item/ Add many items.

The Menu Label is the label that you can assign to the menu items that you have created. For eg: There is food item called ” Chees Pizza”, then you can label this item as Pizaa while creating the menu items. It is actually the way of defining the type of food item.

Similarly, With Menu section, you can group your food items. You can add new Menu section from Admin Panel > Food Menus > Menus Section

    https://image.prntscr.com/image/Y17YmQunRCm6DjZQr0d-XQ.png

You have to assign the menu template to a page to display all of these menus items.

    Front end:

You can create different Menu pages assigning the Menu template.

    Hope this clears the confusion.

If you have any confusion further, please feel free to post.

    Best Regards!!

Thanks for getting back to me. I apologize for keep coming back. But is it possible to create multiple menus?

I need to have a lunch menu, dinner menu, outdoing dining menu – etc… I would like to have each menu on its own page.

Am i missing something besides a couple of brain cells?

    Hello @ttemple,

Firstly, we would like to make you clear that you can post as may queries as you want and we will be answering each and every query as soon as possible.

Now if you want to have different menu on different page then you can assign the Menu Template to the pages that you want to create as the menu page. In this way you can set the menu of your choice in each individual page.

    Thank you 🙂 .
