Hi,
Installed WEN Business. Whatever I choose, I see NO SLIDER! I chose the theme because this.
How can I activate the slider?How can I add images to it?

The theme definitely have the feature to display the slider .
So for this at first please make sure to to set your Your homepage displays to A static page by going to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings .
After that go to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Featured Slider > Enable Slider on and select the option Home Page/ Front Page or Entire site . Then chose the category that you want to display in the slider .
Also make sure to upload the image in Featured image section of individual post edit screen of that category as the image in the slider display from there.

I did all of the above. Still no slider… do I have to show the post containing the slider-image on the homepage or somewhere else?

Hello @rnb,
When we inspected your site we found that the slider is not enabled and you have not placed any widget in Front page widget area .
Slider is set using the category . So create the category by going to Admin Panel > Posts > Categories . Now assign the posts that you want to display on the slider in that category and chose that category by going to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Featured slider > Slider Type .

The picture of the post is set to wen-business-slider.
There’s no slider visible on the pages.Thanks in advance!

Hello @rnb,
You have placed the image in content area of the post edit screen through add media and this image does not appear in the slider .
The image that appears in the slider is the one that you upload in the Featured image section of individual post .

Also there are other sections in the theme that you can add in the Front page widget area like call to action etc .

You can definitely place different featured image for different page .
For this simply go to individual page and upload the image in Featured image section of that page like the one you have done in post .
