When I viewed the demo > Category > Macro I see that the vertical picture (flower) is in the center and the landscape photos are spaced evenly on both sides of the center vertical picture.
I’ve tried setting my gallery several ways and cannot get it to display on the page as it does in the demo. I’ve got 5 photos and 1 is Vertical but when I select “Tiled Mosaic” in the gallery settings it resizes the vertical picture to make it smaller and fit beside 2 landscape photos in the same row. The “Tiled Mosaic” doesn’t really give me 3 columns. It puts 3 photos in one row and then 2 larger scaled photos in the second row. Not like what I’m seeing in the demo.
What are the settings to have it display like the demo? Is there a special plugin perhaps?
May 1, 2017 at 1:33 am #41026wensolutionsKeymasterHello @dlindphoto,
Please once try using the image of size 439*706 in one of the post and see if it works.
Also please do post your site URL so that it would be easier for us know inspect properly.
Hope this helps.
Best Regards!!
May 1, 2017 at 9:30 pm #41189dlindphotoParticipantI tried what you said but there is a complication today. Under advice from Mojo Marketplace tech support I deactivated Jetpack. Now I don’t get anything like what is on your demo. Is Jetpack necessary for your theme to work?
May 2, 2017 at 1:38 am #41215wensolutionsKeymasterHello @dlindphoto,
Actually Jetpack is not necessary to handle the layout . The Masonry option will handle it for you .
Can you post your site URL so that we could properly inspect the issue and provide the precise fix ?
Hope you understand.
Best Regards!!
May 2, 2017 at 7:49 pm #41502dlindphotoParticipantSo I tried making 5 photos the size you said. No difference. I have disabled Photo Proton in Jetpack. No difference. I change the Masonry settings. Nothing changes.
What are the suggested setting in “Create Gallery” in WordPress media?
Why does changing Masonry settings not work?
May 3, 2017 at 1:08 am #41524wensolutionsKeymasterHello @dlindphoto,
Uploading the image of the size as we have mentioned earlier in one of the post works locally .
We cannot get access to your site so we are having difficulty in understanding your issue . so would like to request you to provide the access to inspect your issue further.
You can simply create the gallery through Add media option in the page . There you will be able to see the Create Gallery option . Here chose the image of the recommended sizes and insert into the page from the Create new gallery option available in the right corner.
Refer to below screen shot:

May 3, 2017 at 5:33 pm #41603dlindphotoParticipantI don’t want to have my site go live yet. I may have to take it back and don’t want to bother doing that yet.
So I did what your links show. It does not work. I’ve tried several times. The masonry settings that you suggest do not work. And I have deactivated Jetpack. I only get the images in columns and rows, not masonry.
Perhaps your theme does not work with the latest WordPress version.
I would like a refund.
May 4, 2017 at 5:28 am #41644wensolutionsKeymasterHello @dlindphoto,
We apologize for the inconveniences.
But as we have tested the issue locally we are getting exactly like in the demo as you can see in below screen shot :
http://image.prntscr.com/image/a6e2f88d984a4bdf99121931bcb5215d.png
Please follow below instruction once:
– Create a category “Macro” .
– Create five different posts and upload the image of recommended image size (439*706) in one of the post .
– Assign the posts you have created to the category “Macro” which you have created .
– Go to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Theme Option > Layout Options > Archive Layout and chose option Masonry from the drop down. Now you will able to see the page as in the demo by going to the front end ie. from Category > Macro at the top right .
If these above mentioned steps does not solve the issue then please provide the access to your site so that we could inspect the issue precisely .
We would also like to assure you that we are always here to help you in your issue so you can always ping us when ever required .
Best Regards!!
May 4, 2017 at 12:23 pm #41688dlindphotoParticipantSo are you telling me that the masonry layout only works with posts and not with a page the has photos inserted?
May 5, 2017 at 2:47 am #41725wensolutionsKeymasterHello @dlindphoto,
According to the theme feature the Masonry layout is only for the archive page as you can see in the demo version of the theme as well . The theme does not provide the feature of Masonry layout for the pages .
Hope this clear up the confusion.
If you have any issue related to the theme further, please let us know.
Best Regards!!
May 5, 2017 at 7:29 am #41762dlindphotoParticipantWell I am not happy with using this theme. It does not do what I want. It does not have very much control over items of webpage construction.
I would like a refund.

June 8, 2017 at 3:21 am #44543portrait-manParticipantThis is what I was afraid of too.
I have been asking the same thing under the free version, been receiving similar answers and so I upgraded to Pro.
Now I read this didn’t work for Dan on his site.
I am not happy either.June 8, 2017 at 4:02 am #44547wensolutionsKeymasterHello @portrait-man,

June 8, 2017 at 5:56 pm #44620portrait-manParticipantThe problem as I see it with this “support” system is you ask for a URL to the page that is causing issues.
Now if I could show you a page I probably wouldn’t have the issue.
I really don’t understand why someone there cannot devote a bit of time to creating a step by step aid showing us how to set up the site to look and work like your demo.It seems more than 1 person is having the same problem.
It is not setting up the site.
The problem is getting the home page to look and behave like:
http://wenthemes.com/theme-demos/?demo=photo-perfect-pro
This going back and forth is very time-consuming and as a result frustrating and annoying.
