Thank you for using the theme.
To make the slider work you need to enable the slider section and set using the page/post/category.
So you just need to go to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Featured Slider > Slider Type and set the slider.
This will make the slider section appear on the front page.
Thank you.

As this did not work I also tried the other slide types.
At the moment it is set to Featured Category.
Am I doing something wrong? I also downloaded your instruction manual and I am careful following instructions but I can’t get this to work?
I have also had trouble in the menu area with the theme. I use WordPress.
I create a page following your instruction. I create a new menu and save it. Then on the left under Add menu items, Pages…No items appears and I can’t get anything to appear in this space?
I have worked on all of this for a few hours now.
Is there a problem with the Theme connecting to WordPress? I am anxious to get my website up and running.jenarkbusinesssolutions.com.au
Kind regards,
Jeanette

When we tried to inspect your site URL, we could not do so as your site seems to be the maintenance mode. Please make sure that you have set the Homepage settings to Static Homepage by going to, Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings > Static Homepage
Also, please set the Homepage and Blog page which is under the same tab to the respective page.
If the issue still persist, kindly write back to us.

September 24, 2019 at 6:13 am #106645jeanette-jonesParticipantHi Again,
When I go to the admin panel or dashboard, appearance, customise, there is a section called Home page options – not home page settings. I clicked on home page options and the only sections in this area are: Show home content(ticked box) News section title – in the box the word “News” is pre populated, News Category – nothing in this box, No of post – 2, News post read more test – Read more, Enable Events Section – box is ticked. Events category – nothing in this box, No. of Events Posts – 3, Events post excerpt length – 10
There is NO area to make the page static. The above areas follow each other down the left panel.
Thank you again for your assistance and support. I look forward to you getting back to me again.
Regards,
Jeanette

1. Which WordPress version do you need me to run? I am currently running the most up to date version of wordpress.
2. What PHP version should I be running for the Education Hub Theme. I am currently running version 7.2
Again I look forward to your reply so the theme will be running smoothly soon.
