There is a widget called EH:social. Is there a way to add additional social links to this? Currently the only options are Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Flickr. I need to add Instagram and remove YouTube.

    Hello @mlevine3@esu.edu,

The Widget EH:Social takes in the social links from the “Social Menu” Created and assigned to the “Social Menu” Menu location of the theme.

Hence, it is possible to add as many social links in the widgets as you like by simply adding “Custom Links” menu items in the menu assigned to the theme’s social menu.

To do so, please go to your Admin Dashboard > Appearance > Menus and find the menu assigned to “Social Menu” menu location of the theme. You can then add “Custom Links” menu items in the menu with your social links URL. You can also manage the order of the social links display output by rearranging the items in the menu.

Save your changes and the widgets should display all the social links with icons in your widget area.

    Hope this Helps,

    Best Regards !!

    Yes that worked.

Here is my issue, which I have no idea how to do. We are using a hashtag #ESUGrad. Our public relations people want a social widget on the commencement home page that will display actual post from Facebook, twitter and Instagram when the hashtag is used. Do I need a different plugin for that?

    Hello,

The feature you are looking for is not a theme feature and requires usage of third party plugins to accomplish.

Please check the plugins like : https://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-facebook-feed/ To accomplish the task.

However, please note that as the third party plugins have not been tested for compatibility with the Education Hub Pro theme, we cannot be assured of the third party plugin to be completly compatible with the theme.

    Hope this Helps,

    Best Regards !!
