I have TP Education active. I have added testimonials and published them. For the website, when I go to Sections- testimonial, I select “static Frontpage,” but the only content type is “demo” I do not have an option to select “testimonial post.”
February 26, 2020 at 12:52 am #117115wensolutionsKeymasterHello,
The process is to add the TP Education plugin and to add testimonials. Also, make sure you publish the testimonials. After you get back to the customizing, you can see ‘testimonial posts’ as dropdown in the testimonial section following the path Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Section > Testimonial .
Also can you please provide us your site URL.
If the issue still persist, get back to us.
Thank you.

Please update to the latest version of the theme. Also, make sure you add testimonials from the dashboard https://prnt.sc/s76b3b.
The issue has already been fixed in the latest version of Kids Education Pro.

April 29, 2020 at 4:08 pm #122108Virginia HumphreyParticipantI have clicked update several times and it doesn’t update my site. I tried putting in the product key and that put a second version (a newer version ) of the theme into my themes list. However, I cant change to that because all of the work I have put into the site up until now is lost. How can I fix this?
April 30, 2020 at 1:19 am #122137wensolutionsKeymasterHello,
Regarding your query, you can create a child theme and make all the customization in the child theme’s function.php.
You can refer to the link given below on how to create a child theme.
https://wptravel.io/how-to-create-a-child-theme/
Also as you’ve already mentioned, you will lose the changes made in parent theme while updating theme so we don’t recommend our users to make customizations in the parent theme.
After shifting your customization in the child theme, you can update to the latest version of the theme.
Regards.
