    Critical error
    My website is down in the error messages from the theme, when I go to the admin and try to update the theme, an update is available but I get an error message also want to update, saying cannot connect to server

    Hello,

    Regarding your query, everything is working fine when we re-verified with the latest version of the theme.

    So, once you uninstall and re-install the theme to verify that the issue still persists or not.

    If I reinstall the theme, will I lose all of my customization?

    Hello,

    Regarding your query related to the customization, you should not make any modification directly in your parent theme as all of the customizations will be lost upon update to the latest version of the theme and the same situation is here when you reinstall the theme.

    So please go through the child theme for the changes and shift all your customizations in the child theme before you uninstall the theme. You can refer to the below-given documentation link to get detailed assistance on how to create a child theme.
