When I log in to my hosting providers portal, there is no theme thumbnail showing for my site. The other two sites that don’t use Theme Palace themes display a thumbnail. I contacted my hosting provider and they said the issue is with the theme provider.
I also noticed that when I sent someone a text with the domain, https://www.librarylearn.org, the text web preview showed as a blank page. This is not usually what happens for a text web preview.

Dan

Actually, we are not quite clear about the issue. Please send us the screenshot marking the issue so that we can be clear and provide you with the precise fix.
Also, can you please send us the admin login detail at wensolution[at]gmail.com to inspect further.
Regards.

Thank you for the login details you provided.
Your query related to the thumbnail not showing on the site, the issue has nothing to do with the theme. The JETPACK is generating og tags for everypages. In case of homepage the og:image url is ../blank.jpg. You may find settings about the OG Tags settings (We are not sure…) when you log into the WordPress.com manage sites.
You can also refer to the screenshot given below:
Hope this helps.
If you have further queries, let us know.
Thank you.
March 6, 2020 at 2:30 pm #117851DanParticipantHello,
I don’t think the open graph setting is the issue as I installed an open
graph plugin, added an image and the front page is still a ‘white blank’. I
think the open graph has more to do with posting to social media channels.The reason I say that is because when I add the Education Hub (free version)
to the 3rd site, a thumbnail of the theme is displayed.I don’t know the ‘blank page’ on the hosting panel has anything to do
with a proper texting web preview or not. I do wonder if there was a theme
picture whether that would fix the web preview issue.Regards,
Dan

<!– Open Graph Meta Data by WP-Open-Graph plugin–>
<meta property=”og:site_name” content=”My Library Learning” />
<meta property=”og:locale” content=”en_us” />
<meta property=”og:type” content=”website” />
<meta property=”og:image:width” content=”200″ />
<meta property=”og:image:height” content=”200″ />
<meta property=”og:image” content=”https://librarylearn.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/group-studying-header.png” />
<meta property=”og:title” content=”My Library Learning” />
<meta property=”og:url” content=”https://librarylearn.org” />
<meta property=”og:description” content=”Training Resources for Library Staff” />
<!– /Open Graph Meta Data –>So there is now an image for the site and the Jetpack open graph data is turned off.
I’m still seeing the white blank screen.

Dan

My hosting provider now admits the thumbnail issue is an issue with their setup.
Thanks for pointing me to the open graph issue. It resolved the sharing issue with the web preview not showing with the text.

Dan
