Hello guys,
I recently update my wen-corporate theme from Version 1.0.1 to Version 1.9.2. The way to add content to the homepage in Version 1.0.1 was to add widgets to the “Front Page Widget Area”, then these Widgets would appear in the home page as content. Widgets such as “Corporate Divider Widget”, “Corporate Divider Widget”, etc, where the main Widgets that made up the Homepage. After the theme update for version 1.9.2, my homepage only displayed the text: “[Blank] Content in widgets”. All the other content would not display, though, the widgets were still existing and still contained the previous input I had entered. I have tried many ways to fix this issue but cannot find a fix. Is version 1.0.1 & version 1.9.2 backwards compatible pertaining to the way the Homepage is edited in this theme. Thanks in advance!

First of all, we would like to apologize for the delay in replying to you.
The theme is built in such way initially. So if you want to manage the setting i.e. display the latest page when setting Your homepage displays to the latest post and front page widget when setting Your homepage displays to Static Page you have to activate the child theme.
You can even activate the child theme using the plugin given below:

After activating the child theme in your child theme functions.php file paste below given code.

The setting of the WEN Corporate is the same as it was initially released. Now, when we change the setting it will hamper to our 3000 over users.
So you can either add the above-given code in your child theme and work as mentioned above or you can simply follow the link given below and reactivate the initial version of the theme which is 1.0.3:
