i tried everything, but can not figure it out; the title in the header shows the last added item in foodmenu (in that category), not the title of the category itself…
have you any idea what goes wrong??… when i look at the demo… the “menu” is one page, my client made every menu category an item in the website-menu, maybe that’s just not the best option in this theme?
woops.. 🙁 foodmenu is a thirdparty plugin, foodmenuS is the theme option. sorry for the spam… i think the 2 don’t work together?

First of all thank you very much for using the free version of the theme.
The Foodmenu appears on the dashboard after the activation of the plugin Open Table Widget which is recommended by the theme itself. You can enter the food menu from here which appears on the page that you have assigned the menu template by going to individual page edit screen.
Hope this clears the confusion.

that’s not really what i mean.. i’m sorry. when using “foodmenu-plugin”, the last added item in the foodmenu is displayed in the header, where it should display the name of the page. like, when i have a page with pancakes, you should see “pancakes” in the header, but it shows “pancakes with sugar and…” as in the last item that was added on that page. do you have any idea how i can fix that?

you see, the menu and page name is “pannekoeken” (pancakes in dutch) but in the header shows “poffertjes” (little pancakes in dutch)
in the other menu pages, my client added an food item with the name of the page, to make it show correctly in the header, like in for exemple “lunch”.
if she doesn’t do that, it will show “ bread with butter and…” in the header?

Actually, we are unable to generate your issues.
The theme provides the Menu Template which you can assign to the page and display the menu items that you entered through Food Menu at the dashboard.
So we do not know exactly from where you displayed this menu.
Please explain clearly how did you get such menu page so that we can generate the issue by ourself.

the plugin that is used is called “food menu” https://nl.wordpress.org/plugins/tlp-food-menu/
the menu of this restaurant provides so many dishes, that it would become a veeeeeeery long list when watched at mobile, when the menu template of the theme is used.

To make you clear on this, we have not done any sorts of compatibility testing with the Food Menu plugin or any third party plugin besides the one that is recommended by the theme itself.
So the issue might have generated due to the compatibility of the plugin with the theme and as much as we would love to help you on this, we are unable to do as it falls beyond the support we offer for our product.
So if you want the plugin to work with the theme, our suggestion to you is hire a professional developer.
