Update:
My hosting provider now admits the thumbnail issue is an issue with their setup.
Thanks for pointing me to the open graph issue. It resolved the sharing issue with the web preview not showing with the text.

Dan
DanParticipantAfter adding an open grapy plugin, the code looks like this:
<!– Open Graph Meta Data by WP-Open-Graph plugin–>
<meta property=”og:site_name” content=”My Library Learning” />
<meta property=”og:locale” content=”en_us” />
<meta property=”og:type” content=”website” />
<meta property=”og:image:width” content=”200″ />
<meta property=”og:image:height” content=”200″ />
<meta property=”og:image” content=”https://librarylearn.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/group-studying-header.png” />
<meta property=”og:title” content=”My Library Learning” />
<meta property=”og:url” content=”https://librarylearn.org” />
<meta property=”og:description” content=”Training Resources for Library Staff” />
<!– /Open Graph Meta Data –>So there is now an image for the site and the Jetpack open graph data is turned off.
I’m still seeing the white blank screen.

Dan
DanParticipantHello,
I don’t think the open graph setting is the issue as I installed an open
graph plugin, added an image and the front page is still a ‘white blank’. I
think the open graph has more to do with posting to social media channels.The reason I say that is because when I add the Education Hub (free version)
to the 3rd site, a thumbnail of the theme is displayed.I don’t know the ‘blank page’ on the hosting panel has anything to do
with a proper texting web preview or not. I do wonder if there was a theme
picture whether that would fix the web preview issue.Regards,
Dan
DanParticipantThat worked.
Thanks,
Dan
DanParticipantI don’t have an option in my Post editor to restrict the word count. There is no Excerpt option in my WordPress. Is this available via a plugin?
Unfortunately, I was interested in limiting the number of words on a Page featured content on the front page. The theme already comes with a front page word limiter for posts.
Thanks,
Dan
