I’ve downloaded the latest 1.4 version, but I have a child theme of the 1.2 version, that is used on the website.
How do I install the new version without breaking the child theme and losing any customizations?
Do I remove the 1.2 version and then install 1.4? Do I install 1.4 on top of 1.2 etc.?
Okay, thank you!December 8, 2017 at 9:35 am in reply to: How to remove 'Category:' in page title banner image #60080
Ok, it worked actually. Now it looks exactly as it should, thank you!
And another question, should we do this to the original theme now, or keep using the child instead and keep the original as a back up?December 8, 2017 at 9:00 am in reply to: How to remove drop-down menu from social media buttons #60075
Hello, thanks for the effort.
Still no solution. Nothing has been ever dragged. The links are the default ones which comes with the theme. Just some of them has been deleted.
The problem is with the theme itself. It appears she’s been modified to be like that and this has nothing to do with the menus.
I’ve removed all the custom links and try to add them again from the scratch but now it says “pending” once I create them and when I hit “save menu” the page refreshes and the menu is gone/not saved.
Can we dig a little deeper into the problem?
Any help will be appreciated!December 8, 2017 at 4:36 am in reply to: How to remove 'Category:' in page title banner image #60050
So I followed the steps.
I installed the child theme generator, and after I edited the child theme functions.php in the wordpress editor and saved the file, the whole website got an ‘HTTP ERROR 500’ and I had to revert to the original Reef plus theme to “unrbreak” the site. Any idead what I did wrong?December 7, 2017 at 8:09 am in reply to: How to remove 'Category:' in page title banner image #59905
