    thanks for your reply! I guess that the code you showed me is to be put in function.php
    There is a problem though, the post that i hide one day, the next day I would like to be showed-

    Actually I found a plugin wp hide post, sadly is not updated (still seems to work) and i think it will do the same thing of the code. it would be easier though to change a post from hidden to displayed while for the code i should change manually the id…is it so?

    I solved:
    #footer-widgets .widget-title {
    border-bottom: 0px;
    margin-top:1.0em;
    color: #31313f;
    font-size: 24px; }

    Thanks for the answer, you had already said the right dimension of the images.

    As for the footer, I meant the area with widgets, I had tried

    #footer-widgets { color: white !important; background: #414151; }

    but there is the problem that the title goes outside the widget area…and its possible to remove the white line of the widget area? thanks 🙂

    Thanks alot for the answer! It’s all ok with the read more options. As for the first question, if its not too difficult, I would like to link featured image to url post anywhere especially blog. With your code this happens only in search page. thanks alot and sorry for my many questions.

    Actually I have 2 more things to ask maybe there is an answer as well:

    1) How to link the featured image to the post?
    2) How to add some dots after the end of an excerpt ?
