Thank you for the quick reply and writing the functions.php code. It was easy to implement and works beautifully. I used the Child Theme Generator and it took about 10 minutes to complete. It should be noted for others following these instructions that creating and activating a child theme “uncustomizes” the theme options (resets them), so I had to add them back in the Theme Customizer (like header image, logo, featured content, etc.). I also chose to implement on a development sandbox so the above URL doesn’t reflect the update. The results are currently hosted at this temporary sub-domain: http://naples.v-strat.com/
