First of all thank you for the appreciations and using the theme.
You can create new categories by going to Admin Panel > Posts > Categories > Add New .
After creating the required category, assign that category to the post by going to individual edit screen that you want to display in the sections you have mentioned.

http://prntscr.com/jkleljFinally, go to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Homepage sections > News and events section and select that particular category to display.

We actually are not clear what you exactly meant by the comment box but if you are referring to the Contact form as you see in the contact page of the demo then at first you need to activate the contact form 7 plugin.

Activate the plugin and create the contact form by going to Admin Panel > Contact > Add new.
Now copy the shortcode generated into the content edit screen of the Contact page.

To reduce the size of the logo use below given CSS.
For this go to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS and paste below given CSS.
.custom-logo-link img { max-width: 180px; }Now to vertically align the site title with the logo use below given CSS.

First of all thank you very much for buying the pro version fo the theme.
Actually, the slider that is displayed at the front page does not rotate through the no of slides. You have to manually slide the slider by clicking on the pager.

The theme itself does not have the option to change the placement of the section in the homepage.

The logo and the site title is not aligned because your site title is too long.
So to align the site title and logo you have to reduce the length of the tile and upload the logo of small size.

When we locally checked for the issue, we were unable to find such kind of issue i.e the plugin is working fine.
Further, we actually do not know the cause of error in your site so it might be due to conflict with another third party plugin that you may have activated. So please once try to check the issue by only activating WP Travel and WP Travel Express checkout plugin.
If the issue still persists then we need to check your specific setup and find the cause of error.
So, in that case, you need to provide your login detail in the email given below:

When we inspected your site URL we found that the image size that you have uploaded is 1920X699px. So the height of the slider is not reduced.
So please upload the image of height less than 450px to reduce the height of the slider.
Additionally. while uploading the image in the header you will even get the option to crop the image.
Also, you can see in below screenshot that the height has decreased when the image of lower height is used.

Please upload the image of height less the 490px if you want to decrease the height of the header image.
As we have already mentioned that header image is used as the background image so the image with smaller height will fix the issue.
