KeymasterHello @Taisiya,
For the customizer option to show categories list, you will need to create posts and categorize them in categories from your WordPress Dashboard.
If you need reference on creating posts / categories in WordPress, please go through the links below :
https://codex.wordpress.org/Posts_Categories_Screen
https://www.siteground.com/tutorials/wordpress/wordpress_category.htm
After you have created posts with featured images and categorized them in your desired category, you will now have an option to choose that category from the customizer option mentioned above.
Hope this Helps,
Best Regards !!

KeymasterHello @jjambeck,
With the latest update of the Flat Commerce Pro theme, the feature to change both the button color and button color on hover is available via theme customizer.
To change the color of the button you can now remove the CSS Code provided above and choose your desired color from your Admin Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Featured Slider > Featured Slider Control > Link Button and Slider Pager Color and Link Button Hover Color options.
Save & publish your changes and the button colors will be changed.

KeymasterHello @GlenRoseISD,
The error you are referring to is not a theme related issue and most likely is related to file permission issue on your server.
You can try updating the theme manually via FTP for resolution of the issue.
Hope this Helps,
Best Regards !!
