Make sure you have Pro version activated.
License input section is located in Appearance -> Theme License page of your admin dashboard.

Yes, this is possible and the feature is already available in the theme.
1. Just create a new custom menu with custom links from Appearance -> Menu -> Custom Links section .
2. Assign those menus to Quick Links Menu by checking the checkbox.
3. Finally [Save].
The added custom menu items will then be displayed under Quick Links section of your homepage.

Well, you can do this normally from WordPress default post per page option from Dashboard -> Settings -> Reading . Update the numeric value in Blog pages show at most field as per your requirement to control your number of image display.

This issue is quite unclear, maybe if you provide us a screenshot and your site URL we might be able to resolve your issue.
There seems to be no way to get back to the front page once I visit another page without typing the website address again.
You can add a Home link in your menu from Dashboard -> Appearance -> Menus -> Add a menu. Then add Custom Link to the menu which contains the link to your home page.
