Please is education hub using font awesome font.

And also, this css “http://fonts.googleapis.com/…” is loading on my website and its causing delay rendering the page, could this be from the theme?

    Hello @froshdimeji,

The fonts URL you are referring is the google fonts URL loaded in the Education Hub Pro theme. The fonts and the FontAwesome fonts are completely different and have their own significance in the design / layout of the theme.

Also, as all the resources / codes loaded in the theme are optimized and properly loaded with WordPress standards, it is very unlikely that the font load might have created a delay on page load.

    Best Regards !!

Again we would like to make this clear to you that “font-awesome” just deals with layout like showing icons but not font. Whereas google font in fact is pulled form google font remote URL to display the font in the site.

So page rendering slow is a basically a due to connection speed.

Therefore you can also talk to your hosting for internet speed as this is not related to the theme.

    Hope this helps !
