Non of my post are showing up in the pages I created. How do I get a post to associate with the proper page?
Hello @nivaunmac-com,
You can create the post and associate with the particular category so that the post that you have assigned with the particular category will be listed in that category page . Also you can add the category to display in Menu as well .
All the recent post that you have created will be displayed in the blog page .But to make it appear on the specific pages you can associate the post to the categories and view in category pages.

That is what I am having trouble with. I can not find the options to select in either my post nor the pages.

First of all create one category by going to Admin Panel > Post > Category then create the post as you like assigning to that category.
