Actually, the search functionality will be available in tourable pro theme only if you activate the WP Travel plugin which is free plugin. So, to add the search functionality in theme, please use WP Travel plugin.

Hi, is that global search for the entire site? I don’t want to just search Trips created with the WP Travel plugin.
I.e how do you add search in the top bar of header by the social icons?

Regarding the query about the global search, the theme only provides search for the trip type and other trip-related search of the site.
Since the search field is not available in the feature of the theme, it requires core code customization. You can consider hiring a freelancer or our professional developer.
