You can definitely use the individual image for each page and for this you need to go to individual page > Travel Insight Pro Meta option and select the option “Enable (Featured Image)”. Now you can upload your desired image in the featured image section and this will be displayed in the header section.

Regarding your query, all the sections on the front page are integrated together and arranged by setting the priority. since you have added the new section, you must set the priority of the section.

Also, make sure you have done all the customization through the child theme. If you directly modify your parent theme then all the changes will be lost upon update to the latest version.

Apart from the plugins that the theme recommends, all other plugins are considered to be third party plugin on which the compatibility test is not carried out.

You can make the compatibility test be deactivating those third party plugins one by one and verify if the issue is there upon deactivating them. You can also use the plugin which will ease the process of compatibility test as health check plugin : https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/
