The only factor that can be adjusted is the height of the image and the image that you are trying to upload is too small to display in the slider section .

However even if the width wont change the height can be adjusted by uploading the image of suitable height .

Also when we checked locally the slider adjusted its height according to the image uploaded . So please once try by regenerating the thumbnail using the plugins .

The issue is due to the incompatibility of the plugin with the theme . Also for your information we have not done any compatibility testing with any third party plugin beside the one recommended by the theme itself .

However for the quick fix you can use below given CSS .

For this go to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS and paste below given CSS .

div#content section {
    opacity: 1!important;
}

Currently there is no option to control the speed however you can control the transition period form the transition Delay time .

If you do not want to delay the transition time then you can set the value to zero . By this slider will not move continuously but will move after breaking for a fraction of second .

The theme has already provided the option to change the background color of the site .

For this go to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Color Options > Basic Color Options > Background Color and change the color as per your requirement .

To resize the site title use below give CSS.

Go to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS and paste below given CSS.

.site-title {  
    font-size: 45px;
    }

Adjust the size according to your requirement .

To change the background color of the site title section use below given CSS.

#site-identity {
    background: none repeat scroll 0 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.93);
  
}

After wrapping the required text within div you have to include the links in the link field of the slider .

The link that is to be included is permalink of the page that you want to connect along with the id that you have given while wrapping the text .
