WordPress by default does not have the feature of excerpt meta field in the page editor screen . However the excerpt meta field can be add manually . For this you can refer to below link:

WEN Business theme is easy to use clean and responsive theme .

Now to make the slider work at first you need to go to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Featured Slider > Slider Type > Enable Slider on and select the option Home Page / Front Page . If you want the slider to appear in entire site then you can select the option Entire Site .

After this select the category that you want to display in the slider section . Also make sure to upload the feature image in the featured image section of the particular post .

However as you have mentioned that you are going to try something else, you can always consider switching back to wen business and if you require any help you can post them here.

Your quires have been answered below:

-the orange accent next to the text overlay on the main slider

To change the orange accent use below given CSS.

For this go to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS and paste below given CSS.

#main-slider .cycle-caption {
    border-right: 8px solid #8da3b1;
    
}

You can change the color code according to your requirement.

-orange arrows on the footer

Actually we are not very clear on this but if you meant Go to top arrow then you can change the color for this by going to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Color Options > Go To Top Color Options .

If this does not help please provide the screen shot of the arrow that you want to change the color for .

To achieve what you want you just have to simply place the NB:Featured page widget in Front Page Widget Area. After placing the required widget you will be able to see the option Show Content: in the widget . From there select the option Excerpt from the Dropdown . You can also manage the excerpt length from the option Excerpt Length.

First of all thank you very much for buying the pro version .

Upon inspecting your site we did not find any menu item in the menu you have created .

For the menu to appear in the primary location first of all create your desired menu by going to Admin Panel > Appearance > Menus . Add the necessary menu item to the menu you created and assign it to the primary location and save them . You can also create other menus and assigned it to different locations provided by the theme itself .

Also you have set you front page display to your latest Post . So to set up different section for the front page go to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Static Front page and set Front Page display to Your Latest Post .
