KeymasterHello @mstephens,
When we checked the theme locally we are unable to find such issue in News Ticker section.
So can you post your site URL so that we can provide the precise fix on this?
Also as for the second query, we will provide the fix after inspecting your site URL.
Thank you 🙂 .

KeymasterHello @sharoncaren,
In the theme there is no feature to add the sign-up button on the slider, so please explain further or provide the reference so that we can inspect further.
Since the sign-up button is placed in the footer through the widget CTA, we will provide the custom JS so that when clicking the button will open the link in new tab.
To add the js please activate the plugin given below :
https://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-css-js/
After activating the plugin, please paste below give JS code in the plugin.
<script type="text/javascript"> jQuery(document).ready(function( $ ){ $('a.custom-button.btn-call-to-action').attr('target','_blank'); });For reference, please take a look at the screenshot below:
Hope this helps.
Best Regards!!
Have a good day.

KeymasterHello @jmarkantonakis,
No, all of the post, pages that you have created from the admin panel will be there as it is. You simply need to create the child theme and activate and then set up the theme by choosing the page, post that you have created previously for the parent theme.
Also, we always strongly recommend using the child theme for any modification in the parent theme so that your original parent theme remain safe and secured and whatever modification you would like to bring in the theme can be performed through the child theme.
Hope this helps.
If you have any confusion further, please let us know.
Best Regards!!

KeymasterHello @jmarkantonakis,
To disable the lightbox feature in the theme you have to go through the child theme.
You can create the child theme manually or simply create the child using the plugin mention below:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-child-theme-generator/
After activating the child theme Replace all the code in your child theme functions.php with the code given below.
https://gist.github.com/anonymous/663c6668c3169e6e1d4304890c1cac09
After that create the file custom.js in your child theme and paste below given code .

KeymasterHello @mstephens,
Actually, by default you will see the list of posts in homepage after activating the theme.
Since you want the post to list in the front page i.e. Homepage just go to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings and set “Your homepage displays” option to “Your latest posts”. This will list your recent posts in the homepage.
You can limit the no. of the post by going to Admin Panel > Setting > Reading.
But in case if you want to the list the post in separate page like Blog page without sidebar then you can disable the sidebar by going to that page dit screen which you have chosen to display the post pages.

KeymasterHello @lindajerlamgmail-com,
The service section is set up by placing the service widget and to increase the no of the post to display requires higher code customization and as much as we would love to help you with this, we are unable to do as it falls beyond the support we offer for our product.
For this, our suggestion to you is hire a professional developer so that your theme is not affected in any way.
To hire a developer, follow below-given link:
http://themepalace.com/hire-a-customizer
The option to change the color of the menu in homepage is already available in the theme.
For this go to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Color Options > Primary Menu Color Options and change the colors as per your requirement.
Now to change the color of the search background use below given CSS.
For this go to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS and paste below given CSS.
#quick-icons li a.search-icon { background: #31f8f8 none repeat scroll 0 0; }You can change the color code as per your requirement.
Hope this helps.
