To add a sidebar, you need to add a widget like in the previous screen record we sent. As per your query, on each page, you will see the same sidebar. The widget setting is a global setting for the whole site. To add the sidebar different on different pages, this feature is not available.
Hence you can add a widget as a sidebar that displays on each page.

Since we were not able to find out the exact issue we want to inspect the debug log and for this, you have to edit your wp-config file.
Config file will be there inside the WordPress folder. Please have a look into the screen record below:

You can edit the config file from the c-panel.
This way all the issues will be listed in the debug-log file and it will be easy for us to inspect the issue.

About adding icons to the School activities section you can follow the path Admin panel > Appearance > Customize > Section > Features
About the little blurbs in school activities, you can follow the path Admin panel > Appearance > Customize > Section > Features and add content in the ‘Section Description’.

As per your query regarding changing the font size or font family of the site Title + Tagline in the header, you can add CSS following the path Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS,

To add the icon in the menu section above the menu items you have to add the font awesome classes in the backend in menu sections.
For this go to Admin Panel > Appearance > Menus.
To make the section to place the CSS classes appear you have to check the CSS classes in the screen options as seen in the screenshot below.

Here in the particular menu item assigned to the menu, you can see the section to place the CSS class. There you can place the CSS class and you will have the icon in the front end.
