    The featured carousel present on the static front page and shop page shows hidden products.

    How can I alter the behaviour of the carousel to display only products that have been set with catalog visibility to “Shop and search results” or “Shop only”?

    I sent you a comment on GitHub. I added a few lines of code.

    Basically there is still an issue when there is no product category configured in the back end. That means you have also to change the query when featured_carousel_product_category is empty or equal to 0.
