hi there,
the feature content is not working for me (3 column horizontal). is vertical and I can’t change it to horizontal. also, the widgets are all locked. i can’t delete them.
here’s a screen shot.

First of all we would like to request you that please post your query in the support forum of respective theme . When we inspected your site URL we found that you are using Education Hub Pro not Academic Pro .
Also we found that you have not activated the featured content section so you need to activate them at first by going to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > featured Content > featured Content Type > Enable Featured Content and chose the option Home Page only from the dropdown .
Now select the option page/post as per you wish to display in this section .

Also every widget has delete option at the bottom of the widget so if you don’t want any particular widget anymore then you can delete them by clicking in delete button .

Please follow below given steps below .
For Featured Page :
Step 1: Create the pages with your desired content and upload your desrired image in featured image Section.

Similarly create other pages.
Step 2: Go to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Featured Content > Featured Content Type and select Featured Page in option “Select Type” .
Step 3. Finally select the pages that you have create in Admin Panel > Pages to display in Featured Content Section.

The theme does not have such feature currently and as much as we would love to help you with this we are unable to do as it requires higher code customization.
