Hello. I want to customize some of the demo on the static front-page, for example, how do I customize the main slider?
Hello @rachelr1221,
Customizing the slider is easy and for this, you simply need to go to the customizer setting > Sections > Main Slider and chose one of the options i.e. page/post/category.
You can select the slider either using the post/page or category. If you choose the page then the content and the image comes from the individual page edit screen. Similarly, if you chose post/category then the content and the image comes from the individual post edit screen

I love the demo slider but would like to change the image. Is that possible or how can I add a slider with my own images?

To change the slider images, please go to, Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Sections > Main Slider and select the category from which you want to get the image from.
For example, if you select the page category, you will get the options to choose the particular pages and the images of the specific pages will appear as the image in the slider.
