    Hi,

my blog is in german. Unfortunately, in the frontend some english words are to be read.
Is there a language file for the translation? Or is the translation possible only in the php file?

    Best regards
    Frau Inga

    Hello,

All the strings of the theme are translation ready and you can translate the individual strings of the theme using the Loco Translate plugin.

If you spot any translation issue with any of the strings in the theme, kindly let us know along with the screenshot so that we can inspect the issue further.

Hope to hear from you soon,

    Best Regards!!

    Hi,

Loco translate is one possiblity. You are right. I could hace thorugt of that.

For my issue there only three string, which should be translated. For this i don’t want to use a Plugin. I like to translate it directly in die the php code (I’m working with a child theme)

Two strings I found in the comments.php, line 40: “thoughts on” –> “Kommentare über”

The third string will be found in the template-tags.php, line 129: “By :” —> the space between “By” and “:” must be deleted – Transaltion: “Von:”
I found the same also in the blog-lover-pro.pot, line 1195.

I hope, it will be helpfull for you.

    Best regards
    Frau Inga

    Hello,

You cannot directly translate the string in the original theme file. If you directly modify the parent theme then upon update to the latest version all of your modification will be lost.

So, if we recommend you to go through the child theme for any modification in the theme.

    Thank you.
