I was trying to set up google adsense for my site. I went to the header.php file and placed the adsense code between the <head> and </ head> entries. When trying to save, the content is gone. As much as I tried copying the content again, I can not save the settings.

First of all thank you very much for using the theme.
Now, the very important thing is you should not directly modify your parent theme files. Once you do that all of your modification will be lost.
So, we strongly recommend you to use the child theme for any modifications in the theme.
