Hello, I believe that my concern has not been discussed in this section but is a similar problem. I use the theme signify Music Dark (Latest version). And I don’t want the thumbnails to be cropped.

A friend of mine who programs PHP has always fixed this for me but unfortunately I always lose this script as soon as I do an update.

In the Screenshot image two you can see that the first two block entries below have the original image diagonals, the update was not yet done.

After the update was done and the modified PHP script was overwritten again the resizing problem is present.

Maybe you could just set up this feature somewhere. That the ratio does not change the aspect ratios anymore.

In addition, is there still somehow a trick how I can solve this problem?

@AUGITROPICS, there is nothing we can do with CSS. We have to change one code in the PHP file because the image size is set to post-thumbnail size in order to reduce the loading time. We have to set the size to large or full to display the full image, it will increase a little bit of loading time.

    Please follow the screen record

After this, if it does not work. Please regenerate the size of the image

Whenever you update the theme you will have to do same change in the file

Yeah I will inform the theme author about this, maybe the author will consider this thing in the next update
