i have a problem with the slider in the free version of construction base.
i have chose 3 different sliders for the home page. data cabling, fibre optic cabling and electrical installations.
when i click on the read more button on the data cabling slider, i am taken to the relevant page, which is correct. however, when i click on the read more button for fibre optic cabling, this also takes me to the data cabling page and not the correct “fibre optic cabling” page.
when i click on the “Electrical installation” read more button, i am taken to the “fibre optic cabling” pageOctober 25, 2017 at 11:17 am #56643
Can you please share your site URL if possible to check the issue as described? In the meanwhile, please check the documentation to set up the slider http://themepalace.com/instructions/themes/construction-base/#doc-how-to-manage-featured-slider-16October 26, 2017 at 6:46 am #56726October 26, 2017 at 7:03 am #56735
why is your testimonial slider displaying pages from my blog posts???????October 26, 2017 at 7:41 am #56743
For the issue #1. we have noted this issue as the known issue and we will release the update soon fixing the issue . For now we would like to suggest you to use some other transition effect available in the option .
As for the issue #2 , For the Testimonial section the theme has provided the option to chose the category that you want to display in the section. Category can only be created for the post type so your blog posts is displayed.
So for this section create the posts with the desired content and images assigning them to a specific category . Then finally chose that category to display in this section . In this way you will only have your desired post displayed .
Hope this helps .

ok, thanks for your help on both issues.
ref issue 2 – if i use this method for posting testimonials, this means that the same post (testimonial) will also be visible in my blog post section…. this is not goodOctober 27, 2017 at 12:55 am #56800
In the blog post only your recent post that you have created will be listed .
However the theme has also provided the option where you can exclude the category to not display in the blog post .
For this go to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Theme Options > Blog Options > Exclude Categories in Blog and list the ID of the Category that you have chosen to display in the Testimonial section .
Hope this helps .
