Hello,
When trying to process CC payments, I get the following error:
“An error occurred, please try again or try an alternate form of payment”On the “Orders” section I can also read the following: “Braintree (Credit Card) Payment Failed (Status code 92201: Company name/DBA section must be either 3, 7 or 12 characters and the product descriptor can be up to 18, 14, or 9 characters respectively (with an * in between for a total descriptor name of 22 characters).) Order status changed from Pending payment to Failed.”
I contacted Paypal and they said they cannot see the transaction on their end.
I tried disconnecting/reconnecting Braintree & disabling/enabling the plugins but it still doesn’t work.
On the WooCommerce/Braintree troubleshooting page I read the following, does anyone know if this is an issue with this theme? (Clean Commerce Pro).
“Braintree loads some important javascript on the checkout page. Some themes (particularly those based on the Starker base theme) cause conflicts with this javascript. There are two primary issues:
The theme lacks the do_action( ‘get_header’ ); call when loading the checkout page — The Starker theme is an example of this issue (and any child themes of Starker). This action must be added into the theme, or we suggest using a WooCommerce-compatible theme like Storefront.
The theme has incorrectly modified the review-order.php template — The Braintree javascripts requires the order review div to have the order_review class. When a theme has modified the template and changed or removed that div, this trigger cannot be bound and you’ll encounter errors. To fix this, ensure that your review-order.php template is up-to-date and has not been incorrectly modified.”
Thanks in advance!

The theme has loaded the header in the check out page while we have checked in our theme.
Also as you have mentioned it works with the Starker theme, for your information our theme is underscore based theme .
Additionally the theme is 100% compatible with the WooCommerce but the compatibility of the theme is not checked with the Addon of the Woo commerce . So the issue might have caused due the incompatibility with the plugin Braintree as we have not done any compatibility testing with the plugin mentioned . Please once verify whether the issue caused due to the plugin or not .
Hope this clears up the confusion.
Best Regards!!
