To remove the author name and the post date in the single blog post add below given CSS by going to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS.
.single .entry-meta { display: none; }To remove the category you have to activate the child theme. To know how you can create and activate the child theme please refer to below given link:

After activating the child theme in your child theme functions.php add below given code.

The section under the slider is the feature content. The images are not from the page that you have selected for the slider.
Featured content is the different section. You have to go to Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > featured Content and chose your desired page.
As for your second query currently, there is no such feature in the theme.

First of all thank you very much for using the theme.
In the free version, we do not have the option to limit the content. But with the pro version, you can set up the slider using the post, categories from where you will have the excerpt filed where you can place the desired amount of content.

The issue may be because you have limited upload time. So you may want to ask your host to increase php upload time and try again.

The first thing to do is to update your WordPress to the latest version if not already done.
Then if the problem is still there, contact your hosting company and ask the hosting support team to check the following points :
– Make sure your server is running a recent version of PHP and the cURL library.
– Try to increase your Server Memory Limits settings.
– The cURL error can be a dns related issue. Your hosting company might need to switch dns configuration to OpenDNS : https://www.howtogeek.com/164981/how-to-switch-to-opendns-or-google-dns-to-speed-up-web-browsing/
– Ask your host if there is some limitation with wp-cron, or if loopback is disabled.
– Ask your host if there a firewall or security modules (e.g. mod_security ) that could block the outgoing cURL requests.Thank you.
